As long as they were rigged correctly, I'd just smile and live with it.

In mid-80's, when I lived in Kansas City (KS), there was a large bar/club on the MO. side that had all its PA speakers (from what I recall - JBL Cabarate series) rigged in the ceiling (similar to the photo, but pointing straight down). There was about 24 speakers (subs, mid/high, and full-range) spread across the entire bar. Directly above the DJ booth (suspended from the ceiling) was a large wooden rack (custom made with installed cooling fans) that housed about 12 Crown PSA/SA2 amplifiers. This was one of the best sounding "club" DJ systems I had ever heard. To my knowledge, nothing ever fell from the ceiling.
I didn't think the Cabarate series cabinets were fly-able, but I think the bar made them to be so.
