Shure PSM900-G7 still usable in your city?
« on: December 06, 2019, 12:03:23 PM »

Now that it's possible to pack TV stations right next to each other, it's also possible to completely crowd out specific pieces of gear that don't have an especially wide tuning range.  Here in Chicago we've now got a solid block of TV stations right where Shure's G7 band for the PSM900 lives. I'm just curious how it's worked out in your city, since we're trying to figure out what to do with the transmitters and receivers.  We do some business shipping rentals to other states, so it might not yet be a lost cause.

G7 band is 506-542 MHz, why would it not work?

In a crowded market, like Chicago, it's possible for the entire band of a device to be filled with TV stations.
