The Who played Riverfront Stadium.  Eleven concertgoers died in the stampede to get to the front of the pit.  Between this and what happened 6 years earlier at Altamont, Californina with the Stones show, we began to realize we didn't understand what crowd control and security really were.

The Who took on a fair bit of guilt and haven't played Cincinnati since then, although Daltry and Townsend have said they're coming back.  Hopefully we can show that crowd control and security are better this time around.
