IP to HDMI
« on: November 20, 2019, 06:19:16 PM »

Hi,
Does anyone know of a good quality IP video decoder. I want to take the RTSP stream from an AXIS camera, and feed this into a HDMI screen. It needs to be able to decode MP4 video with AAC audio embedded. PoE powering would be nice but not essential.

I use any number of Axis video decoders, although I don't use audio much.  This one should do what you want.

Thanks, unfortunately we have not had good experience with this decoder. It is only 720p for a start, and we have battled with it alot. It seems you can have good video and no audio, or very poor quality video and good audio.

I also recommend Axis video decoders, I use them.
