Don't place the subs 1/4 wavelength from the wall to avoid heavy cancelation at that frequency, measured from the front of the sub.

So if the subs' passband is 30-85Hz don't place them 11/4=2.25m to 4/4=1m from the wall.

If placed less than 1/2 wavelenght there will be a quite narrow 3dB bump at that frequency.
