Sooooo I tried to save a few bucks and ordered 10 of these off ebay.

The first day they are and we plugged in to charge them. Within an hour 8 or the 10 would make a fairly old PFFFFT sound and then smoke would come out. I am glad I didn't charge overnight and leave the shop! They didn't catch on fire and still actually worked, but scary!

I ended up getting Chauvet Freedom Hex Pars which are way better in many ways [we are a Chauvet dealer]. The seller took them back and just refunded my $ less shipping.

The freedom par uplights are the most used and rented fixtures in my locker.
Completely reliable after several years of use.
I love the wireless control when I need it.
