I'm more interested to see the price point?  With the increased price of the M32 series, I'm thinking that the Wing will be out of my range and come in at the 5-10K range, much higher than the MX32 series?  Thoughts on price?

The M32 has stabilized back in its usual ~$4900 range since they created the Live SKU earlier this year and offloaded all the old IP SKU units, and the X32 has been $2499 as long as I can remember. It's kind of an odd space that the Wing will enter in since I don't think there are any true 40 physical input desks out there that don't count their aux/returns as inputs (X/M32, SQ, etc) for marketing hype. It's like everyone settled on 32 inputs being enough then all the "big boy" mixers start at 48 and go up from there. It seems like it'll have to cost more than the M32 based on features alone, but how much more is going to be tricky since the Behringer name still has a bit of a stigma around it. Too much and people could ignore it and just get the M32 or other desk in that league, too little and the M32 becomes the orphan until a Midas-branded Wing variant comes out a year or two down the road. My guess is it'll fall in the $6k+ range to differentiate it enough from the existing models, but not muddy things higher up in the pecking order.

I was thinking about the name and wondered if it may be "inspired" by Allen and Heaths #dLiveWings marketing for compact dLive systems, i.e. a modular system with some combination of separate processing/IO/controls....?

Wing announcement will be made at 18:00 GERMAN TIME (so GMT +1, that's 17:00 GMT) on the music tribe community. Believe you may need to sign up to view, but the old MG/Behringer forums login will still work.

It wouldn't surprise me. The first thing that popped into my head when the Wing name became official was an MA lighting fader wing. Guess we'll find out in about an hour.

All looks good.  The two key unanswered questions are now "when" and "how much"...
