I had started a thread called "New X32" before the name was given for this desk. Maybe this should be the main thread now "if" the name really is going to be Wing. It does look interesting but no real spec's as of yet. I am hearing a few people are thinking its going to be released this Friday but who knows. They are saying the greatest release in 32? years. Time will tell.

It's funny, but at this point, while very curious about the new desk, I'm more interested in the new stagebox options (stageconnect) and the DL8.  Hope we see some more info soon!

Agreed, the teaser on the HUB4 page is nice, but I'd love to see the final form factor of the DL8. While it wouldn't be the end of the world if it's a standard rackable item, I'd love to see it be more like an actual stagebox that ruggedized to stand up to actually being put on stage rather than a rack a few feet away.

1) Do it right
2) Do it over until you do it right

I'd like to see different configurations.  Stagebox like you say, but then a 1u rackmount version with 8 ins, or 8 outs, or 8 ins on the front, 8 outs on the back, reversible, etc.
A configuration like that would be great for wireless and/or amp racks.  Connect with a single cord and go! The new firmware with 1 for 1 patching makes that feasible.

Also, shooting for the moon, but with StageConnect being open source, I want someone to make a StageConnect to Whirlwind W1 connector so I could use my existing DrumDrop.

That MUST be a hoax. Behringer is never early, but always to late... ;)

I'm more interested to see the price point?  With the increased price of the M32 series, I'm thinking that the Wing will be out of my range and come in at the 5-10K range, much higher than the MX32 series?  Thoughts on price?
