Suggestions for audio/midi playback system
« on: November 02, 2019, 10:42:04 AM »

Not sure where to post this. I need suggestions for a system for a venue to playback several different track of audio to several different zones as well as send midi info for lighting. Started out with Cakewalk on an HP All-in-one but having issues with "audio engine quit" syndrome. The system needs to run unattended for 12-14 hours, so the soundtrack files are very large.
If this is the wrong forum, please move it or let me know, thanks.

give SFX (from the company stage research) a try, it will do what you ask.

if you intend to go to a Mac based platform, then Qlab comes to mind (and is quite similar in functions)
