Affordable 6-Zone Amp

Dayton Audio  MA-1240a

https://www.parts-express.com/DisplayProductVideo.aspx?VideoID=1202&zpid=12699

I currently use a Peavey PZS 80 to distribute audio to garage, basement and outdoors. However, it is mono only, and  20WPC x 4.

This is stereo, and can be configured for 80W @8 ohms x 6 bridged mono.

I would rather have had the trim pots on the front, though I understand why they are not. It is designed for static level and "zone on" settings. That would require me to create a switch panel to choose speaker selection.

 Looks interesting, though.

I have a couple friends that use the Monoprice version for a whole-house audio setup. Way more features for a couple hundred more dollars: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=10761

A little less power than the Dayton, but it's a true matrix solution which wins in my book.

Wow! Thanks. That does everything I can imagine.

Anyone interested in a pair of PZS 80s?  I'll sell 'em cheap.
