Acapella Live Audio Mics
« on: October 28, 2019, 11:58:58 AM »

Hi all-
I recently found myself in charge of mixing live audio for 17 acapella groups. Some of them are pop and each member has a SM58. Others are R&B or classical. SM 58's aren't an option for these groups, so they need area mics. I'm looking for recommendations that won't break the bank. They have 8 part harmonies. Lead vocals and Bass/Vocal Percussion will be on individual mics, but I'm looking to capture the rest of their sound. They've used KSM32s in the past, but I believe there has to be something better than that. Thoughts? Thank you!

1) Do it right
2) Do it over until you do it right
