Watts generally means squat with allot of cheaper cabinets. Its a thermal rating. And cheap cabinets tend to list things in peak wattage to trump up the number to sell more units.
You want to know the peak sensitivity rating of the speaker.(this can be calculated using the drivers 1w/1m rating if no spec is available)
The -3Db down point(how low it goes flat)
The -10Db rating(how far it extends)
RMS or AES wattage rating to size your amp by.
Coverage angle for top cabs 90x40 60x40 40x40 high frequency horns etc...Angled pole cups if you plan to hang tops over subs on a pole is a nice option also.
But most importantly what it sounds like....cranked up. Just about anything sounds"OK" in a music store.Seems loud and clear in a tiny shop. But listen to cabs out live and see what you like in an actual "in use" senario.
Think about all your needs....truck space may be a factor as well as weight also.
Also whats the cab made from.....birch ply(best)partical board(Meh..)MDF(cheese).
