Siglent vs Rigsol vs GW Instek
« on: October 04, 2022, 03:20:19 PM »

I'm looking at the Siglent SVA1015x which looks very good, and I like that it comes with a tracking generator and VNA as standard.

Any reason to look at Rigsol or GW Instek stuff? Do they have anything comparable in the same price range?

Yes, I believe both have comparable products. No direct experience with their analyzers...I had a 100 MHz Rigol oscilliscope which I was never very satisfied with. Replaced it with a 200 MHz Tektronix and I was much happier. The two scopes had a virtually identical form factor and feature set (other than BW).
My experience with devices that have...strongly similar features to established brands (Keysight/Agilent, Tektronix) but a much lower price point is that they are feature rich, and performance...ok. YMMV

Anyone ever done a scan import into WWB? Guess I should check Pete’s site first…

It should just be a "save as .csv" in a menu somewhere...

Likely true.

Now, how to get "real time" scanning data into WWB? I doubt WWB supports that directly... :-)

Some years ago WWB supported a couple of scanners but now it's only Shure recievers and their own scanners they allow.
