Gobo Holder
« on: September 26, 2019, 05:30:50 PM »

I somehow lost the gobo holder for a Chauvet EVE-E-100Z Leko. Anybody have an idea for holding a gobo in place to get me through an event for one night?

Thanks

Assuming you don't have a roll of "black wrap" on hand, I would try as a last-ditch effort to use heavy aluminum foil (pie pan or roaster pan material) and cobble something together.   The aluminum is heat resistant, easily formed, and can be folded back on itself as needed for approximating the correct thickness.  Best of luck.

+1 on making one out of tinfoil.  Since you're dealing with an LED fixture instead of a conventional fixture, the heat issue should be minimal.  You may have to experiment a little to get the shape and position of the gobo just right, but it shouldn't be too tricky.
