Testing was done with NL2

Son, that there's your problem.  You can't send it a bi-amp signal on such cabling.

I don't think biamp was the goal but just flipping the bi-amp/passive as a form of trouble shooting to maybe just reseat the switch contacts.

Since there is no pin set 2 on an NL2 that rules out any connector mis wiring for your use. Switched to bi-amp mode using your cable should give you just the woofer.

Yep bad crossover or switch.
