Second the K&M clip recommendation. They're good solid clips, and I've gradually been using them as replacements when more expensive clips go missing.

Not sure if that question is for me?
Ah, sorry, it was for Mr. Lunceford.

Ah, sorry, it was for Mr. Lunceford.

I have not tried the CM700 on choirs, although I rarely have to mic large groups of singers. It is good to know, in case that need arises. I have 8 CM700 mics but I have pretty much put them into retirement since I discovered the Beyerdynamic M201TG.
I bought a pair of the M201TG and started moving them around and trying them on many different instruments. I ended buying 10 of them, replacing the Crown, EV NDYMs, and SM57s.

As a side note, I purchased an Earthworks Vocal mic and it came with a K&M mic clip, with an Earthworks sticker covering the K&M logo.

K&M clips are both reasonably priced and work well at 20% of the price of an SA30 saddle.
