Be sure to check the mounting dimensions.  Electrolytics have gotten physically smaller in the years since the 8001 was designed.  You will likely find that a higher voltage cap will be required to get a similar size and terminal spacing as the original.

 
Can someone  help? The original caps was 35,000UF 75V. It is 2" in diameter.

I cant find the same caps, only 30.000uf cornell DCMC will fit.

Is this a good one for replacement? It has less capacitance than the original.

Cornell costs $54 and United Chemi-con is only $22. Does anyone know if Chemi-Con is as good as cornell?

I've used both united-chemi-con, and cornell-dublier over the decades. $22 seems like a more reasonable price.  8)  The higher price may be because they don't sell many...

Do not assume those prices correlate with component quality, read their spec sheets instead.
