Has anyone ever cleaned a Optic core end? If so, where did you find instructions?

I haven't cleaned one myseft yet, but instructions to clean one of those (inserted in mud) can be found here:

https://www.belfuse.com/resources/whitepaper/wp-ccs-fibr-fiber-optic-connectors.pdf

It does seam as if you can pretty much clean it with anything you've got; quite different to the LC/Neutrik OpticalCon connectors cleaning process.

You need to be more specific.  DiGiCo has HMA, ST, and Opticon fiber options.  To which are you referring?

Are you talking about the HMA connectors?  The short answer is "almost anything".  The technical answer is that you should take care not to scratch the lens, so a lint-free cloth, and even optical cable cleaning solution will help.

Sticklers makes some swabs for cleaning expanded beam connectors - I just ordered a pack but haven't used them yet.  Admittedly they're a little on the expensive side.  Their cleaning solution works fine as well, and a cheap box of Kimwipes or similar doesn't hurt to keep in your kit.

All of these should be available at your favorite fiber supplier for <$50 total.
