Other than the routing changes, what other features might we expect with V4?
A subtle overhaul to the GUI throughout, some kind of predictive text if typing in text, RTA now uses colour to highlight levels, support for the DP48.

I'd not heard about a full mixer backup/restore - would be nice, though.

This will be on the actual mixer itself when fw 4.0 is released.

How do you perform a full mixer backup?

I can't seem to find that option in m-edit 4.0.

I never trust new firmware or software releases. Been burnt a few times.

Is rolling back to an older version an option with these boards?

Rolling back is a non-issue. I’ve done it literally hundreds of times.

Make sure to backup your scenes to be on the safe side. Under some circumstances the power-on snapshot may be reset so make sure to save a snapshot before updating if you intend to keep it. NOTE, this does not affect the saved snapshots/scenes, only the power-on snapshot.

Got a link ? Nothing of the sort is showing up on the X32 page or the support page at Behringer.com.

Thanks, How about links to the editors Mac and PC ?  music-group.com loads to a blank page with a 503 error.  Are these some sort of guinea pig pre-release perhaps?
