Greetings. I'm not positive that this is the right place to post this. If not, perhaps one of the mods can move it to the appropriate place.
Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations for an acoustic consultant for a local theater / performance venue. It's an old art deco movie house that now serves as both a movie theater and performance hall. The acoustics need help and the new board of directors is interested in exploring possible solutions.
Knocking down ambient noise in restaurants and pubs is one thing, but a room of this scale is beyond my skill set / resources to address correctly.
Yes, I could just do an online search, but I'd like to get some recommendations from folks that have used acoustic consultants and can speak to their experience with them, Venue seats 975 and is located near Harrisburg, PA. Location is within 3.5 hours drive of NYC, D.C., Pittsburgh, Philly and Baltimore. Any information that anyone can provide is greatly appreciated.
