Don't get distracted by the small sh__ ... Good manufacturers also build amps in China...

Focus on brand value, customer support, and verified performance.

If a deal seems too good to be true it probably isn't true.

I summary, I guess the moral is, start saving up for what you really need! 😉

I see small DJ's embracing this gear. That doesn't concern me.  Problem is when a rental company start stocking up on cheap clones. Lower overhead so they can now undercut legit production companies.

Price compression in the audio equipment business started decades ago and moats, or barriers to entry, from owning gear is not the defense it once was. Then you have weekend wannabes working for free hoping to join the circus. I won't repeat the old joke about how to make a million dollars in the sound business.  ;D

And if budget is a concern, there are many deals to be had on reliable used equipment that would be serviceable if anything went wrong.
