I'm probably going to buy a couple of these for the youth group here, but I've got a question real quick that the manual doesn't seem to cover.

Does the battery charge while the unit is "off" but still plugged in? And is it safe to leave it plugged in and charging all thie time?

Lithium battery tech is pretty good now, so I'm assuming is has a strong charge controller to manage the battery, it's just that in my case it will remain plugged in and used once a week as a kids room system, then maybe 4-5 times a year carried out somewhere and used on battery power.

Sound On Sound said it charges whenever it's plugged in, but didn't specify if it had to be turned on to charge.
