Cat6 usually has a tighter pitch for controlling cross talk
This will cause skewdelay
Means AUDIO DATA PAIR- SYNC PAIR
There may be a 40ns delay
This is not good

In standard Ethernet cat6 can be backward compatible with cat5
But aes50 is not necessarily

While that's interesting, can you explain to someone who uses CAT6a in multiple cables for at least 4 years why there's never been a problem with it? I did have problems with CAT5e in certain configurations, particularly with squeezing and pulling the cable while in use.

That experience has driven my quest to find out what's going on in there.

What effect would I see/hear from skew delay suddenly changing, and why would it change? I'm assuming it would have to change to create a problem because there is no visible or audible problem the rest of the time.

If your CAT6A is SFTP
PAIR has AL-FOIL. It is possible that you have escaped.
Because TWISTED is mainly solving PAIR-PAIR CROSSTALK
When the cable is SFTP then TWISTED will be relaxed even the same
As shown in the picture

40ns would not even register a timing slip at the low data rate of AES50  - This is pedantic,  5e works so anything above it will work fine too.  It's like saying you can't connect a 10m Ethernet to a Cat 6, it will work fine.

The only thing unusual is that Mg's implementation is very intolerant of induced static on the shield.  You have to have continuity and you will not have any issues.

We run a ton of x32/m32 and if you keep it simple (and grounded) you will be all good.

In fact, this is very influential,
Twisting is the loss of cable manufacturers
Users don't want to pay more for twisted cable
Therefore, when crosstalk can pass the inspection, the cable manufacturer will minimize twisting
A common data is 100 meters UTP CAT5E skewdelay is about 14ns and cat6 may reach 40ns
Skewdelay grows with the growth of cables
And may reach the highest value in cat6 utp

The word clock is very important!
Many users use DN9680 to convert to fiber
Minimize the number of users of copper cables
Indicates the difference in sound.

I have the 50m Behringer cable on its spool and have used it for about two years without a problem.  FWIW
