Hello All,

I'm the AD of a department that provides audio visual services for a medical school. We're having a bit of a power struggle between my department and the IT department. Long story short, in order to further separate ourselves from the IT department and draw a more defined line, my boss wants to change the name of our department. He named it "Media Services" back in the 90's on a whim and it has remained that ever since. I simply suggested that we call it "Audio Visual" since we provide the same service as any standard AV department, but my director doesn't seem too keen on that. I'd love to hear your ideas! Thanks!
