The statement was made to me by a jbl trainer ... just run them in passive and always short throw ... get another 9 or 12k amp or sell both and buy 1 4x3500 and run your vrx and subs all off the same amp ... the newest and best presets sound as good as these boxes can do
.. the xti are a close second but really if you are looking for sound improvement start saving for a new system ... the a8s are not much more expensive or something in a point source box if line array is not as important ... this would yield a greater improvement than anything else listed here the vrx has been a work horse box and they have sold a ton but it's also 12 plus year old technology
