So, the newest version of the Lectrosonics IEM belt pack M2Ra now works as a RX for Lectrosonics wireless mic TX. In addition to allowing the IEM packs to be used for a portable single channel setup, a friend of mine in location recording just told me about another neat trick.

You can put the IEM pack with headphones on while mixing up talent and use it to check lav and/or headset mic placement and levels before going live.

Nice way to maximize usefulness.
