I researched this a bit, and EMF sensitivity is real, some people do get sick from it, these scam devices are preying on that fear.  If you suffer from 'that a decent EMF meter and installing blocking into your home (alum foil is cheap, as is aluminum mesh), can help.

I was originally going to joke about a tin foil hat, but aluminum foil actually does block EMF, the joke's on me.

You can't find real *tin* foil these days, and I'm telling you it's some kind of alien conspiracy with the ghost of Elvis in consort with Sasquatch.  Gotta be.   :-X

We can probably point a finger at the "Truth in Advertising" laws.  This is why you see the litany of scam medications, vitamins, "men's enhancement" drugs, and whole crap load of other things on TV that claim to do something.

To get around these scams, the companies peddling their wares, are required (by law) to have a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen indicating that the use of their product will not cure or prevent a disease (I'm sure everyone has seen this before)... even though the item they are marketing is indicating it will prevent a disease.

Because the disclaimer is required, anyone can sell anything and claim it does everything you need... all legal.

I think there's too many scams running that the FTC can't get them all.  As well, some of these websites may be located in other countries where the FTC has no jurisdiction.

Clearly there is a huge market for this product yet I have never met anyone who admits to buying it nor extolling the effects.

Clearly this is soft spot for males as no similar products for females.

Sell him a really big PA system instead.

That's because PA systems will make you deaf.

Saw this on a Facebook page.
Wow, we all are in the wrong business. About $1.85 in materials and less then 5 minutes each to make. At $100 a piece, that’s $1200 an hour profit!!

I can think of only 2 reasons why these scams exist:

1.  Many people lack critical thinking skills
2.  Many people want to believe that something exists that can fix/cure whatever it is they are afraid of

It's the same old marketing scam that's been around for ever... convince people they need or don't need something (scare tactic), then sell them a solution to fix/combat their fear.  Tell someone they smell, then sell them a bar of soap; works every time (for many people).

Years ago, they provided entertainment to go along with the BS. At least you got a show. Let's bring back the travelling medicine shows.

What research reveals that?

The symptoms are psychosomatic. No one has a real EMF sensitivity.
