EAW LA325 Drivers
« on: April 17, 2019, 07:04:57 AM »

I picked up a pair of used EAW LA325 last year, finally got around to test them last night.

One mid-range driver out of polarity, seems like someone replaced this one at some point in the past.
Crossover actually looks ok and sounds ok. I've seen these burned badly in the past.
All original drivers, but they could need an upgrade. Surrounds shows signs of wear and tear, looks like they have been exposed to moisture during storage.

So, I've tracked down the mid range drivers. It's available from the OEM manufacturer.
And I have two HF recone kits as well.
But, so far no luck on the 15" drivers.
Does anyone know what the 15" in a LA325 is?
Is it available from the OEM maker?

EAW no longer supports this speaker according to the latest info I got from them.

I am pretty sure the 15 is an Eminence. I don't recall which one.

Looks closely related to the Eminence Kappa Pro 15.

I thought it was 804071. Yes it looks to be an Eminence driver.
