Or go whole hog and buy a stack of magnet disks and use an SM98 horn bell clamp & gooseneck to emulate a DPA piano mic mount.  Works surprisingly well.  I had to glue the magnets together for maximum reliability and I sprayed them with a rubber coating to make them look less home brew but they do the job 'almost' as well as a pair of 4099s.

Instead of gaff tape bridges try and use a thin piece of wood lath like a paint stir stick.
Way less prone to sagging at the worst moment possible.
And the less gaff tape on the piano usually makes the owner happier.

What are you fastening the magnets to? The tone frame?

Yup.  This experimental version was a pair of rectangular magnets with a large flat washer sandwiched between them and the horn bell clamped to the protruding washer.  The polar adaptors came off soon after sound check started & the pic was taken.  Not something that I'd run out and buy the horn bell adaptors for but since they sit on the shelf most of the time it was an interesting and low cost exercise.

I generall use a pair of Scx25-a on Audi D-Vice...  one 50 to 75% harp length on the bass side, 1 12-18” back from the hammers on the treble side.   Gaff to secure the cables.  Short stick position if possible.   Boundary mic (Crown in my case) inside for monitors - so far I have been lucky in that I haven’t needed the volume to actually use the Crown... YMMV.
