XLR/miniature coax
« on: April 02, 2019, 12:33:46 pm »

I know I should just homebrew this-but does anyone make a high quality XLR-XLR factory cable using miniature coac-like is typically used on hanging mics?  We use a Barcus Berry piano pickup-on our grand piano and get pretty good results, but the mic cable gets pinched in the lid when we close it after services. A mini cable would fit nicely.

Just get some install cable and make your own. It will be tougher than most mini-xlr.

Or, buy a TA3 cable on amazon and cut it up, and put xlr ends on.
