Mackie Mixer
« on: March 27, 2019, 10:44:06 AM »

I have an older Mackie 16 channel mixer. I do not see any model number on it. Is there a way to find out what model it is and what year it was built? I do know that it was made is USA and probably from the 90's.

Just a heads-up...Please change your display name to your real name as per forum rules - otherwise a moderator will lock this thread. Also you probably should post this in the LOUNGE forum as this one is mainly for touring professionals and alike.
Thank you...

Yes, Mackie CR1604.  These were available from the early 90's (still have mine with XLR10 upgrade).
If it still has a serial number on it you may be able to work out tue age.

Mackie made lots of 1604 mixer versions, yours is an early 90's era, with some looking you may find an expander module somewhere for sale to get you more mic inputs.

That's a vintage Cannon XL connector plugged into the first channel of the mixer.
