What kind of budget are you thinking? What controller are you using?

I'll be using Dpro or the ADJ version. I'd like to get out of this with minimal expense

What’s your trim height and stage size?

Trim height is around 10ft. Stage sizes vary

Wattage in regards to lighting is just as ambiguous as it is to sound.
Lights mounted in the rear can be less powerful than those in the front. A small tight beam will appear brighter than a broad beam.
Do you want a focused light with gobos or a non-focused light that has RGB, RGBW, etc?
What other lights are you sing, and where are they mounted?

I forgot to mention that I'm using slim par 64s for the other lighting

One of the challenges with fancy lighting is not looking tired and lame.  While you can get away with the same stage wash all night, add some effects lights or movers and you need to be able to change the look frequently.

Good point. Being the soundguy, I'm doing a set it,and forget it, letting the sound activation do the work. Maybe I'll stick to what I have now.

Watch for a used Showdesigner (original) or Showdesigner 1 on eBay. Once you get used to the programming it's very powerful, yet very simple for playback.

Scanners are 60w.   Chauvet Intimidator Scan LED 300.   They’ve been workhorses.  There are a couple of Intimidator Spot 350’s (75 watt) on the drum riser.

I'd like to get out of this with minimal expense

I like to get out of all my purchases with minimal expense, but you also get what you pay for.  Just to throw a few fixtures out there, the Chauvet Intimidator Hybrid 140SR is currently my favorite moving head that can be had for under $1000 (or at least prior to the tariff price increases).  The Intimidator 355Z and the newer 375Z are also both solid choices.  The Chauvet Rogue Series is a step up in performance and build quality, but also in cost.  So long as you don’t plan on using a super-demanding duty cycle the Intimidators will be better bang-to-buck.  Anything “below” the level of the fixtures I’ve just mentioned might struggle in more demanding environments and not have the output you’re looking for.  What’s worth the money is ultimately up to you though.  Hope this helps!
