The Sennheiser EW IEM transmitter with an EW wireless mic receiver works great. I have a couple of the EW IEM systems and an older dual IEM transmitter transmitter unit.

With good antennas at each end I have done 1600' line of site.

I also use this for remote speakers. I use a paddle at each end. Rock solid several hundred feet out.

I use my IEM equipment as much if not more for remote audio as I do for actual IEM use. Oh I wish more bands would use IEM's!!!!

Wisycom MTK52 / MPR51 /
https://wisycom.com/products/product/mpr51-eng/ receiver
https://wisycom.com/products/product/mtp40s/ transmitter
https://wisycom.com/products/product/mtk952/ rack transmitter

Thanks -- does look right on target! Not as familiar with Wisycom but pricing looks comparable to Lectro. Anyone able to offer a comparison on quality? Another concern I have always is will re-sale value be worse than something Lectro/Senn with less name recognition?

Lastly, anyone have any experience with Sony ENG stuff?  Price/feature ratio is very solid, and Sony is not some no-name brand...  72MHz tunable bandwidth, 5mw/30mw output, true diversity reception, and actually the ability to receive 2 different transmitters in a single rx (don't foresee using this function but it's a neat trick...)

The national broadcaster here have 1000+ channels of Wisycom, quality and range is excellent compared to all other analogue systems.
Menu and software not as user friendly compared to Shure, so you need to read a manual :-)
They also do 2 channel battery receivers like https://wisycom.com/products/product/mpr52-eng/ and https://wisycom.com/products/product/mcr41s-42s/

I have some Sony in the ENG kit and it works very well. As for re-sale, it would not have as wide a market as Senn but for ENG or location audio, it's well known brand.
There are single and dual channel receiver options. The dual is quite pricey!
