Rolls MB35 replacement
« on: January 11, 2019, 03:33:54 AM »

MB35 was a simple inexpensive 2 in 2 out Pro USB Interface and balance/unbalance adapter.

I know that some computer audio interfaces can do this, but is there anything that has the same features and form factor as the Rolls? It’s not a preamp but a line in out stereo device that seems to be unique.
Unfortunately it looks like it’s discontinued.

Anyone found anything like it?

Look up recording interfaces / IO boxes,  lots of two channel units available.

The Rolls MB15b is still available and has the same functions as the MB35 except for the USB In/Out capabilities. I've had this model for years and it's done it's job when needed without fail.  Always carry it in my tool kit.

The USB interface is the main reason I want one.

This unit works great as well. I find myself using this far more often than the Rolls nowadays.

I saw this one from Interspace Industries a bit ago, thought it looked pretty nice.

It doesn’t have the balun feature set, but some adapter cables could fix that.

I've been doing nothing but that for a while.
If you think you know of one, have a look at the Rolls, and let me know if you can find anything like it, with those connections and form factor.

Thanks, know all about that one. Got the Radial version. Have a look at the Rolls and you'll see the difference in connectors and I/O.

Thank you! That's the closest I've seen so far. Good eye!
