replacement flight case casters
« on: January 06, 2019, 11:57:46 am »

Many of my cases and cabinets have reached a certain age, and I've had a rash of casters shedding their outer layer, leaving the hard plastic core. Some of them not so old. QSC's Ksub casters, for instance, are really fragile at sub-zero temperatures.

Who do we like for casters these days?

Hundreds of 4" Blue Penn Elcom casters later and I'm still a customer.

I should have noted that I'm also looking for sourcing.

For Colson and other major brands:
https://www.casterdepot.com/?_vsrefdom=www.google.com

If any of your cases come from companies using two letters only in their name, they buy from these guys.

Penn Elcom can be bought from Parts Express and others, or direct.

I have too. ;>)

Best regards,

John

A slight topic swerve, if I may;  Is anyone aware of a source for Recessed Castors on a FLAT plate (not Corner, not Edge)?  I have some Turbosound cabs with a "tilt back" panel and recesses for castors, but the castors are long gone.
Appreciate any help.
