Tesla actually.  Marconi copied his patents.

Actually, Marconi built upon Heinrich Hertz's work with spark gap generators. Tesla had far bigger fish (dogs, humans, Edison) to fry.

There are more things in heaven and FCC auctions, Tim Mc, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. Auction 101 (28GHz for "5G" applications) is currently in full swing

28GHz?  My hearing doesn't go that far up.  Who is using it now?

I was referring to the 600MHz auctions that still seem to stump some entertainment/HoW users...
