Another fogger/hazer question
« on: December 18, 2018, 08:25:30 AM »

I am looking for suggestions For a fogger/hazer to add to my light show. I'm leaning Towards a  hazer, as I just want to add a light conical effect to the beams during the shows. Are The chauvet DJ hazers worth looking into? Keep in mind that I'm a weekender and don't want to spend a lot on this,i.e. keep it around or under $300. Is that doable?

Thanks,
John

My suggestion doesn’t fit your criteria.  But I bought several of the sub $300 foggers- then a guy on here taught me the ‘buy once, cry once’ rule.

I purchased a Radiance and it’s still going strong 10 years later.  And it SIPs juice.  A gallon will last you a couple years as a weekender.

Good luck with your search.

Hazer for sure.

Back in the day Antari was the go to answer, I haven't looked again in years but I'm certainly interested in the answer as I've been contemplating adding a new Hazer to the inventory.

Antari z350, sips fluid, built in DMX and it will run all night just use the correct Antari water based fluid and nothing else.

I agree Antari Z350 is a great unit and in the price range.  I use the Froggies fog and it likes it fine.

Work out if you can run it in your venues.  If you can't run it (for fear of triggering smoke alarms) you may as well not own it.

But if you can, hazer for sure.
