So I was just informed it's a first gen without ethernet so my question is moot.

Since retiring from mixing live bands a few years ago, I've occasionally helped out some friends on "high importance" gigs.  They usually mix themselves from stage and it's fine 98% of the time.  They asked me to help again for New Year's Eve and they now have a Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2.  Since they're used to having it on stage and would have to beg, borrow, steal a snake to move it FOH, I would just as soon remote mix as I did with my X32.  Looking at the Presonus site, it appears you can just connect a router to the console and have at it.  With the X32 there was entering IP addresses and whatnot associated with getting connected.  I still have a spare router and my tablet (Android) so it's just a matter of making the connection and getting the app.  Are there any connection tips I should know?

The console is on it's original factory software version with no updates having been done.
