Not true - the MYA-UPJ yoke is not mandatory for stand mounting. An Ultimate Support BMB-200K bracket (or similar OnStage part, etc) works just fine.

I had to look that part up. You are correct and that bracket will work. Every time I have taken out UPJs I have used the yoke.
