With the EV/Dynacord you can do basic functions on the front panel to dig deeper you need to the download the Dynacord MARC software, it only runs on 64 bit computers.

 First-
A big thanks to those who took the time to read my thread and give me your feedback. So valuable and appreciated.  I have been sick but now back on the project.

I've been suffering from "Analysis paralysis" thinking "what IF I don't keep the 2 existing EVID's and start fresh with different speakers altogether"
UGH.. but I keep
returning my brain to our actual needs.   A lectern mic and the pastor wearing lav or headset.  That's it.  no band, no choir mics...   Just need more clarity, coverage as I outlined in my original post.

the Plan-
1. I go ahead and add 2 more EVID 6.2’s on opposite side of my existing ones on the west side. Thinking it will give me broader coverage and better gain control. 
The nice thing about this is that I still use the existing EV6.2's  AND the timber frame is "convenient" for mounting the speakers and they can "blend in" fairly well.   
Price is $450 each so that's a good price point.

2. I Have access to getting a either a Yamaha PX5 or the PX8 for power AMP. price difference between 2 is not issue.   

QUESTION-  For running  the 4  EVID 6.2's speakers would I be “okay”
with the PX5 or do I need the PX8 ?   Unlikely to add any more speakers...  (given our needs and the sanctuary layout)
but want to "match" with the best amp-   for running the four EVID's.. and how they would be wired for optimal service.  How does the ohm math work here?

btw--don't worry:  I have a buddy- engineer to help me with the install- he's traveling intensively right now and so I am wanting to get the materials ready for my window of time with him 3rd week of Feb. when he will be available.  I actually installed the existing two EVID's many years ago but now at 66 I'm learning some limits..and it's good to have help.

You should probably email one or more of the many EV dealers here on PSW before you pay that much for those speakers.

Going off the specs you have posted the px5 is a good match.

Just wanted to thank everyone that weighed in.  Really appreciate it.  I got some great off-line help from forum members and have made purchases going forward with 2 more EVID 6.2 on the other side etc. 
So mostly didn't want this thread to be another "drive by" where someone comes and accesses the group think and then disappears...   Thanks again to those who are so generous with time and expertise.  It helped me get out of analysis paralysis!
