A friendly reminder during snowstorm power outages

Stay away from anything metal, especially fences, yikes!

What is energizing this fence?


Also its weird how resistance do that. Just a couple of hot spots where the metal has more resistance....

It's interesting that the current path is isolated enough that only a few inches away the fence is still cool enough for the snow to not be melting.

Yikes! Amazing picture. Perhaps they need one of those little yellow stickers that warns of electric snow melting equipment in use on premises  :o  -F

They clearly should have used a heavier gauge fence.  Not to code!
