Hi Jim-

What's the hard-on for the Stage Bug or similar items?  Cord too short?  VP in Charge of Nothing Important not like the color of the box?  Give 'em Bluetooth and let them have fun with the issues that will present.

How may this help OP? Does this prevent phantom from hitting headphone amp?

I was looking for a dead-simple passive method. A dumb "check valve " for DC.

And that's an isolation transformer.  It really doesn't get more dead simple than that.
