Aero drag is all about the turbulence.
Generally corners-bad, rounded-good.
You can actually improve the coefficient of drag if the BACK of the trailer wasn't flat.
The Airstreams were on the right track.

Hi Folks,

Art, that slippery Casita looks sweet.
The tow vehicle I'm considering, a Honda CR-V, is rated at 1500#, though I would be comfortable pulling 2000# locally.
Interesting you should mention the Chevy Astro, that's one of the vehicles I considered.

Drew, the IronHorse looks like it would tow nicely, and only 765#.
The pop top could make loading/unloading easier.
The CR-V is only 70" wide, and I've always had a preference for trailers about the width of the vehicle.

Something like a 60" wide, stripped Meerkat, but with a wide door, could work well, though probably kinda pricey, if even available.

For the bigger gigs I may just end up sticking with my 23 year old,
beat up, full-size pickup that can pull anything.

Just trying to live a little lighter on the planet!

Thanks all for the consideration!

Good health,  Weogo
