D-Mitri 96K Questions
« on: November 11, 2018, 07:40:22 AM »

Hello,

After a good search in the manual and trying to find people who use the system, I have a few questions regarding D-Mitri that I wonder if anyone can help me with:

1) Does the DDIO-24 Input/Output AES at Double Channel or Double Speed 96KHz?

2) When running AES to the inputs at 48K, is there any noticable processing or control lag in CueStation?

3) When using an external wordclock with the DGPIO, do you still need to provide wordclock to the DDIO units?

4) Can you easily set one DDIO unit to output at 96K and another at 48K?

5) Has anyone used DDIO units interfacing with Yamaha DME64 via MY16-AE?

Any help is very much appreciated!

You might get more answers over on Meyer Sound's user forum. The D-Mitri system is a very high end system with a pretty small niche and I doubt many here have that level of experience working on it.

I've trained on the D-Mitri system, but wouldn't be able to answer those specific questions.

Head over to the Meyer forums.  The number of people using D-Mitri/LCS is pretty limited.

What application do you have that requires D-Mitri?  Depending on what you are doing there are other solutions that are more cost effective and more widely deployed with a deeper user base.
