I have a high tension line outside my shop that causes a buzz in my bass preamp when the humidity is very high.
Took forever to make that connection.

Are you sure you don't have an RF source somewhere in your body? ::)

A good bet for buzz in a home audio system is an unbalanced lead with inadequate conductor diameter.

Is this a semi-pro recording setup or do you have power strips thrown throughout the area and expecting it to stay clean?

Let's just bypass the power grid completely. Have you considered running on generator or installing a double inversion ups to test?

With the UPS it could still be grounding related but I doubt that.

Pull every single interconnect cable and make sure it is a balanced cable going into a balanced connector (and out of a balanced connector). Also have some of the gear serviced, maybe a cap or 50 are leaking in your rig?
