I’ve just seen that RCF are bringing out new models in their HD line. The most interesting one for me is the HDP45.

Some of the more interesting features for me are :-

1/ New amp module derived from TT+ series

3/ New cabinet design (HD35 and HD15 also have this)

Other features look similar to the 745 and NX45

From the specs it looks like the ART-745A in a different poly enclosure. I can't figure out why it would weigh 10 lbs more than the ART version though. The ART box is pretty thick and well braced so I can't imagine that much more weight just from a different box and full grill, so the amp module must be the main contributor. Maybe it doesn't weigh as much as they say. It wouldn't be the first time RCF had bad / conflicting info on their site.

I've never understood the incorrect frequency response specs for some of the models on their site. For example the Art 310A, used to say response down to 45hz (now 50hz) even though their own published frequency graphs indicated a clear drop in response below 70hz. Response is actually down like 20DBs at the 50hz point! The 312A and 315A used to have that same response spec down to 45hz, but their graphs indicated otherwise... You'd think they could read their own graphs.

My guess is "Multi-purpose" as that's how they are marketing that specific cab.
