To clear many aux sends quickly, I go to mixer setup, turn them all into fixed mixes, then turn them back to variable mixes.

Doesn't that also change them to post-fade?

Two questions for QL1 / QL5 console drivers:

1. Is there a fast and easy way to 'zero out' a specific mix (e.g., set all channel send levels to that mix to zero)?

Question is, is it zero (0 db) or dead silent zero (∞ db).....

Had a guy [way back in the analog days] that used to "zero out" the desk by placing every knob at unity since "that means it's having zero effect, so that's zero".  Seriously.  On a 56 input desk with 18 Aux Sends.  Very Bright Guy, but after a few gigs out in the field he was sent back into the Lab where he belonged.
