Mixer Help
« on: September 27, 2018, 11:15:11 PM »

Hey everyone, so I had gotten the Yamaha MG20XU which seems to be a great board for what I need, but I was just wondering...Is there a way to attach a lamp to this mixer? I was told it doesn't have the connections for this. So, what are my options? a reading light?

Hi Joe,

First of all, just so you know, the "Classic Live Audio Board" is typically for the Big Boys, regional/national touring companies, large production companies, etc etc. The Lab Lounge is for the Weekend Warrior, small bands, etc. So, if your post gets moved, this is why.

If you RTM and it doesn't show a lamp socket, then yeah, you're SOL. A small clip on lamp is what you'd need to get.

Hi Joe,

Littlite are an industry standard. I’m a fan of MightyBright - I own & use the Orchestra light and it is great.

P.S. - I think this should go in the Lounge section.
