Multirack Native & Recording for Playback
« on: September 03, 2018, 07:04:43 PM »

Hi All!

Long time reader, first time poster.

I use DiGiCo SD series consoles at my local church and as an on-site FOH contractor around the country. I've been using a Soundgrid Impact Server for a few years now but it just recently bit the dust. Until I'm able to get another, I will be using Multirack natively on my laptop. My setup uses an MBG interface and network switch. Multirack Native is working fine, but I'm having problems getting the DAW on a second Mac to receive audio for recording. The DAW sees the Soundgrid Driver and Soundgrid Studio recognizes both computers. Am I missing something? Can I use Multirack Native on one computer and Record/Virtual on another? With the Soundgrid Server doing the processing, this was never an issue. Thanks for any help!

You should post this on the Digico Users group on Facebook. I have gotten prompt responses to my questions there.

Are you using soundgrid studio for the patching? You have to set up the device to device patching
