Yup, still going here, though one of the fans have gone dead. They just stuck a box fan in front of it to cool it, Yikes!

I can't see how that would really keep the amp cool unless they made up some duct work.

The fan in all of the Crown MA amps with the exception of the 5000's is what Crown calls a "fanformer", the windings on the fan motor also are the amps low voltage power supply transformer. Maybe the bearings are stuck and it just needs a couple drops of oil.

MA3600 and MA5000. They’re paid for I don’t know how many times over, bought in the early 90s. They take anything you throw at them and keep on going. One of the better gear decision I’ve ever made.

When I get to a venue and I see old MAs in the house rack, I tend to get the happy.  However, when they are in a rack that I have to roll in - not so much.  :)
